It seems to me that Dandaras' response is to bury their head in the sand and hope the issues go away.Reserve home 26 by the 30th June and we will give you a 5% deposit contribution as well as flooring throughout. Every resident I have spoken to so far on the development is experiencing issues. We paid 600k plus for our property and don't expect to have the major problems we are experiencing, people work hard throughout lives to pay for their homes, and this lack of respect for that by Dandara is simply not good enough. Most of the time I am getting tradesmen to come to my house by speaking to them as they are working at other properties on the development.

I have emailed them numerous times over the last 10 days to which we get no response(even though it says we will respond in 5 working days!). The customer care team are just a waste of time. When I did fill in this survey he still never transferred me over to customer care! We were transferred to customer care after I contacted them as the site manager ignored our report of further issues. The only time he contacted me was to moan that we never filled in a survey he sent me and that he could not transfer to customer care until we filled it out.

At first he was ok and helpful, now he says he will sort it or just ignores any contact we have with him. We have contacted the site throughout this process. Our 7/14 day snagging list has still not been completed. We fully expect there to be snagging on a new build property but not to the extent where you can't use a room for weeks on end. Also after speaking to other residents they to are also experiencing the same issues as us and are having the same response from Dandara When we purchased the property we were told that we had 7 days to report snagging and the site team would deal within 14 days and we would then be passed on to the customer care team who will look after us for the next 2 years, which we thought was a good service. But the issues we have should have been picked up on the inspection of the property before we purchased it.

We can't go into much detail as they could potentially lead to legal proceedings. We bought our home at the sycamores development in Bearsted at the end of November last year, we have a couple of major issues with the property. This review is about the service we have received after purchase, and I can simply say it is disgusting and shameful for a reputable company like Dandara. But this is only because they want your business. Sycamores Bearsted Dream home turning into a nightmare! The reviews on this website regards Dandara pretty much says how good Dandara is before you purchase the property, which is true.
